The Tagesanzeiger daily almanac of Prague social and musical events published by Prager Morgenpost 12/12/1863 announced two performance being given by this ensemble on 12th December 1863: ‘German performance in Swoboda’s Singing and Theatrical Company [Sing- und Spielhalle] (first performance at 3pm in Café Weiß on the Bastion, second performance at 7.30pm in the Konvikt Hall combined with a Bauchredner Production].’ No further details were given by the source. ‘Bauchredner’ cannot be identified, but most likely constituted a theatrical entertainment by a visiting German company or individual.
