The Tagesanzeiger almanac of daily Prague social and musical events that was published by Prager Morgenpost 27/9/1863 noted: ‘Evening: Dance-reunion [Tanzreunion] in the Konvikt Hall.’ An advertisement was also published in the same issue of this newspaper, announcing: ‘Opening of the Konvikt Hall. Today the first public Dance Entertainment [Tanz-Unterhaltung]. Commencing 6pm.’ No further details of the event or of its participants were given by the source. This was evidently the first event of the season to be given at the venue.
